The Time Bank feature of FREN is an innovative mechanism that links the cost of issuing new tokens to the passage of time,
thereby encouraging long-term holding and enhancing the intrinsic value of the tokens.
FREN utilizes an innovative cross-chain model, generating new token issuance on the main chain while dynamically allocating quotas to different sub-chains and leveraging the rollup model for cross-chain liquidity.
This approach demonstrates FREN's strong decentralization capabilities and facilitates seamless integration with various DeFi applications on different chains.
FREN effectively controls the inflation rate through two methods: firstly, by eliminating the amplification factor for minting rewards, ensuring new token issuance is solely regulated through logarithmic control; and secondly, by implementing a logarithmic control mechanism for the issuance of new tokens. FREN introduces new contract parameter designs, including average minting days, average staking days, and average staking amounts. Through these new parameters, FREN modifies the fixed Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for staking rewards to a dynamic APR, allowing for better control of staking rewards and the overall inflation rate.
These new contract parameters provide FREN with greater flexibility in adjusting staking rewards and managing the overall inflation rate, ensuring the protocol remains adaptable and responsive to market conditions while maintaining a sustainable growth trajectory.
